Game Description
Each player has eight pieces that have a number hierarchy and these are: elephant, lion, tiger, leopard, dog, wolf and mouse. The objective is to reach your opponent'ss den. The pieces are taken by landing on a square occupied by your opponent's piece; a piece may only take an opponent's piece that is of equal or lower value, with the exception of the mouse, which can terrorise the elephant! So you have to think carefully when moving your animals to avoid them being captured and enter the opponents den as you try to cross the river!
The easy rules, combined with lots of strategic possibilities, make this game an excellent introduction to the logic of Chess in a particularly appealing game world!
